OPT7 Online Store Shipping Policy

1. Standard Shipping: OPT7 ships orders using USPS, UPS, and Amazon Logistics. Our shipping partners offer an estimated transit time of 5 to 10 business days. Deliveries to Hawaii and Alaska may take up to 10 additional days, and to US territories, up to 21 additional days. However, the shipping carrier will be chosen and determined by the Fulfillment Center and we reserve the right to use the shipping partner of our choice.

2. Free Shipping offers apply to all non-accessory items to the lower 48 US states only. Orders to non-contiguous states and territories including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, may incur extra shipping fees and will be displayed at checkout.

3. Orders will take 1 to 2 business days to process. A tracking number will be provided as soon as it is available. We are closed on the weekends and major US holidays. Please allow additional time to process if your order is placed when our office is closed.

4. You should receive an email confirmation within a few minutes after an order is placed. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please check your spam or bulk email folder in case the email is delivered to your spam folder. If you need an order update, please contact us and select Shipping Support in the drop-down request. 

5. Most orders will be fulfilled by Amazon Fulfillment Centers within 2 to 4 business days (excluding weekends & major US holidays) after an order is placed throughout the United States. 

6. We do not ship to the following types of addresses. 

6.1. P.O. Box
6.2. A.P.O. (Army Post Office)
6.3. F.P.O. (Fleet Post Office)
6.4. D.P.O. (Diplomatic Post Office)
6.5. Hotel, motel, or residential hotel

7. If you use the address types mentioned above, your order will experience delay as our team will reach out to you for a physical shipping address and hold your order for up to 7 days. A held order without a response will be canceled. 

8. OPT7 is not responsible for lost packages if the wrong address was provided and shipped. Once the order is shipped, OPT7 is no longer responsible for the package. If the order has yet to be shipped, please contact us ASAP to update the order. 

9. The customer is responsible for providing the correct shipping address. If an incorrect or incomplete address is entered, OPT7 Lighting will not be responsible for replacing the product if it is marked delivered.

10. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the shipping address provided is a secure location. If a package’s tracking information is marked as delivered but is lost or stolen afterward, OPT7 will assume the package has been delivered accordingly and will not provide a replacement or a refund for the stolen or lost product.

14. If a package is returned to our Fulfillment Center due to the following issues, your order will be refunded with a 20% restocking fee charged. If the package is returned due to the following issues but is lost during transit back to our Fulfillment Center, the order will not be refunded.

14.1. Undeliverable
14.2. Contains insufficient or wrong address
14.3. Fail to pick up at the local Post Office, UPS Store, or Amazon Locker where the package is held within the time frame given

15. If your order arrives in the conditions listed below, please retain the original shipping boxes, shipping labels, and product packaging to be reviewed, and contact us within 7 days after it is delivered. DO NOT THROW AWAY ORIGINAL PACKAGE.

15.3. Wrong item/product

16. We are unable to make changes or substitutions once an order is paid. If the order is not shipped, we can cancel and refund the order and have you re-order with the correct items. 

17. OPT7 does not ship products, parts, or warranty replacements to addresses outside of the United States. You could consider using a freight forwarder to alleviate OPT7 orders to international addresses. Please use PayPal as the default payment method for international credit card. The customers are responsible for compliance with all export policies of the United States and import regulations of the destination country. OPT7 is not responsible for any tariff, fine, fee, or charges if products are forwarded or carried outside of the United States. OPT7 Lighting must not be listed in any export documentation (e.g., export declarations, invoices, packing lists, air waybills, etc.). OPT7 reserves the right to approve or cancel any order with a freight forwarder listed as an addressee.

18. Purchases made on Amazon Canada and sold by OPT7 Lighting are exempted from shipping policy #17. Purchases made on Amazon Canada but sold by a third-party seller will NOT be exempted from shipping policy #17.

19. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us within one business day after an order is placed. However, we cannot guarantee whether a cancellation request will be processed if it has been submitted for fulfillment. An order cannot be canceled if a tracking number has been assigned. You may contact us to set up an RMA request after the order is delivered.
