Return & Warranty Terms and Conditions

Refund Policy: 

  • 60 Days from the original order's delivery date
  • Return labels are provided by the original marketplace of purchase based on their return policy
  • All returns must be authorized by customer support and all return shipments require a RMA #
  • OPT7 does not cover return costs for the following return reasons (not all inclusive):
    • Buyer error
    • Buyer choice or discretionary return
    • Brightness not as expected (we are not able to guarantee that our lighting solutions are brighter than the lighting solution being replaced)
    • Color not as expected eg. "...too blue..." or "...doesn't match my existing lighting..."
    • "Not as good as my previous HID or Lighting Solution"
    • Warranty exchange return shipments
    • Excessive install
  • OPT7 does not cover out-of pocket expenses related to the following (not all inclusive):
    • Any and all installation costs
    • Any and all return packaging costs
    • Any and all man hours required to install or remove a product from a vehicle

IMPORTANT WARRANTY INFORMATION:

    • OPT7 DOES NOT SHIP REPLACEMENT PRODUCT(S) FOR NEW ORDERS OR WARRANTY EXCHANGES UNTIL THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT(S) ARE RETURNED; WE DO OFFER PARTIAL PART(S) REPLACEMENTS (SEE WARRANTY TERMS BELOW BASED ON THE PRODUCT(S) PURCHASED)
    • OPT7 HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THAT THE ORIGINAL LIGHTING SOLUTION BE REMOVED AND STORED AWAY FOR SAFE KEEPING
    • ALL RETURN COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH WARRANTY EXCHANGES ARE ASSIGNED TO THE BUYER
    • ALL NEW PRODUCT(S) & NEW SHIPPING COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH WARRANTY EXCHANGE REPLACEMENT PRODUCT(S) SHIPMENT(S) ARE COVERED BY OPT7; BASED ON THE WARRANTY TERMS
    • THE WARRANTY COVERAGE DOES NOT OFFER AN UPGRADE SERVICE
    • THE WARRANTY COVERAGE IS NON-TRANSFERABLE
    • VALID PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM OPT7 REQUIRED TO FILE A CLAIM
    • IF AN OPT7 PRODUCT(S) IS REFUNDED IN FULL BY OPT7 SUPPORT OR THE SUPPORT TEAM OF THE WEB STORE WHERE THE OPT7 PRODUCT WAS ORIGINALLY SOLD; THE ASSOCIATED WARRANTY OF THE REFUNDED PRODUCT(S) IS VOID
    • THE WARRANTY DOES NOT PROVIDE A REFUND SERVICE; ALL OPT7 PRODUCT ARE COVERED BY A 60 DAY RETURN PERIOD. THEREAFTER, A STORE CREDIT WOULD BE CONSIDERED ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.

The OPT7 1-year & 2-year warranty coverage provides two types of service; Part(s) & Exchange:

Warranty Part Service:

OPT7 will at our discretion replace a individual part or parts; if that part or parts are 100% confirmed non-functional through proper troubleshooting method(s)
or submission of images depicting the report or issue

  • Once approved part shipments are processed within 1-2 business days and usually arrive within 3-5 business days
  • The cost of the replacement part(s) and the related shipping cost are covered by OPT7
    • If the original shipment delivery address was located in the US and the warranty part(s) are to be shipped to an international address the shipping and handling cost; as well as any customs fees or tariffs that may be imposed by the destination's customs authority are not covered by OPT7
  • We do not offer expedited shipping options for warranty part shipments
  • The warranty part coverage does not provide "reserve", "spare" or "back up" part(s) or components
  • We reserve the right to have original parts returned to us; usually, at our cost

Warranty Exchange Service:

OPT7 will at our discretion replace any OPT7 product(s) upon receipt of the original product(s) & previous replacement part(s) based on the product type and warranty terms listed above. All Warranty return shipments must be authorized and include a OPT7 RMA #which is provided by OPT7 Customer Support.

  • Upon delivery, warranty returns are generally processed within 3-5 business days. Thereafter, a brand new shipment of the previously authorized product(s) will be processed and shipped out; thereafter, delivery can be expected via USPS Priority mail within 3-5 business days.
  • OPT7 does not offer expedited shipping options for warranty exchange shipments
  • Do not include any unauthorized product(s) with prior authorization. If an unauthorized product(s) is returned; expect at least a 5-7 business day delay in processing. We will contact you via e-mail to discuss the inclusion and offer you a resolution
  • Failure to provide an updated shipment address for the warranty exchange shipment may result in a significant delay. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY ADDRESS UPDATES VIA E-MAIL AT SUPPORT@OPT-7.COM
  • In the event the exact product(s) or model is no longer available; OPT7 will replace it with a like or upgraded model or a store credit if a like or upgraded model are not available 


Off-Road Lighting 90-Day & 2-Year LED Diode Limited Warranty

90-Day Limited Warranty

  • Includes C1 & C2 OS Line LED Light Bars
  • All LED Light Bar Accessories
  • All LED Pods or Auxiliary Lighting

Due to the inherent nature of use; all Off-Road road product(s) stated above are covered by a 90-Day limited warranty. The warranty coverage offers two services: A Part warranty and a exchange warranty.

2-Year Off-Road Product(s) Limited LED Diode Exchange Warranty


All Off-Road product(s)'s LED Diodes are covered by a 2-year limited warranty. The warranty coverage offers a exchange service only. A photo showing the failed LED diode(s) will be required before the warranty exchange can be authorized and a RMA provided will be authorized, thank you!

Warranty Exchange LED Diode Service:
OPT7 will at our discretion replace any OPT7 product(s) upon receipt of the original product(s) & previous replacement part(s) based on the product type and warranty terms listed above.
